Outdoor photography is a never-ending fascination - observing the land, the sea, the sky and its many creatures.  It is peaceful yet exciting all at once.  Why is this?  The changing light and the seasons keep everything fresh and new. It is my hope that I might convey to you, some of my joy of shooting. This is incredible country we live in.

As wildlife photographer and Master Naturalist, I have found a good marriage.  A strong wildlife image is not only about lighting, subject matter, composition and technique, but getting to know my subject.  This is a lifelong study as nature continues to surprise.   The natural world is ever changing and evolving, and my photography a continual journey.  It is never the same twice, even when I go back repeatedly to the same locations
